What does a writer do when they have finished writing a book? Some probably read some books, take a walk, a bath. Watch all those movies and tv shows that you’ve missed because you’ve been locking yourself in the corner of a room i front of the computer.

Me? I’m gona hatch me some turkeys!

Seriously, I’m gona hatch some turkeys. Well not me, the broody chicken who won’t get off her nest.

These lovelies are going under her first thing in the morning, and hopefully in 28 days, these will be hatching!

And I just want to say a quick thanks to everyone who has gone and got themselves a copy of One Minute so far!

Interview with Reid South – Main character in Falling

Name: Reid South

Occupation: High School Student at St. Maria’s College.

Best thing about school: I’m on the swim team. And somehow I managed to become house captain this year, someone must have lost everyone else’s applications. Actually, I don’t even remember putting one in. 

You’re a senior, Yes. What are your plans for next year? I have applied to Rhode Island University, I’m not really sure what I want to be yet. Maybe sport science or something.

Why Rhode Island? It’s far away from here.

What’s it like to live at boarding school? How many pillow fights do you have? Yeah, we don’t have pillow fights. Boarding school sucks most of the time. It’s hard for me to be near people incase I start falling into their bodies. It’s really hard to explain to people that no it’s okay the voice you hear isn’t because you’re crazy, it’s because I’m INSIDE of you.

I always hear how bad boarding school food is, what do they feed you? Actually, it’s probably one of the better things about school, the food is awesome. Pancakes with bacon, cereal, good juice for weekend breakfast. It’s awesome when you’ve just come back from morning swim training.

If you could have five people over for a dinner party, dead or living, who would it be? I would only want two. My mum and dad. Just to tell them how my life is going, show them Keller. Just to see them again.

If you could be the character of another book, who would you be? I don’t know, I don’t read a whole lot of books. Maybe the Edward guy from twilight, without the vampire part. I would love to be able to read minds when I’m inside of someone.

Thanks to everyone who entered the competition. The one thing that really stood out, was how hard it was for everyone to choose just one book!

On to the good part. I used random.org to generate a result, which was comment number 6 who is Denise Z. Congrats Denise, I have sent to an email with details.

Right now it’s the 16th down here in New Zealand and that can mean only one thing. PUBLISHING DAY! Yip it’s here and I can’t believe it. I’m nervous as heck, but really excited as well.

You can get it here at Smashwords which lets you download it in most formats and Amazon is still churning through it, but it should only be another couple of hours at the most.

All thanks to my very talented, super kind little sister, I have after so long searching for something just right for the cover of my upcoming YA paranormal romance novel FALLING found the perfect art. Well she actually gave me two.
